A gallery of my work organized by year.
Yep, that’s right boys and girls. Step right up and take a seat for the palest show on earth. That’s right, I’m in front of the lens again and this time, I left all those pesky clothes in the closet. Now, before you cover your eyes and after your gaze, understand that all these photos are safe for that bastion of purity and safe haven from all things prurient; Facebook. Nary a female nipple, nor hint of my southerly charms shall inflict your innocent eyes.  Fear not for I those posts are not ready.  Yet.
Read on to see what happens late at night when a photographer is bored and his wife is out of town and the models have all gone home.
Took this after finishing a shoot where the model specifically wanted the high-key, single light look ala Terry Richardson. The setup is simple enough;
That’s it.  Stupid simple setup. Getting exposure right at +2 compensation took a few shots, but once it’s right, lock down the camera, set the strobe and start taking photos.
This was from a quick set of me just playing around with the remote after the session.  More self portraits coming while I work out logistics with a couple of fantastic Atlanta area photographers to put me in the hot seat in front of the lens. I can’t wait.
Over the last few months I’ve gone all the way back to 2000 and revisited all of my shoots. With 14 years of new tools, techniques at my disposal, I thought it’d be nice to see what diamonds I can find in the rather rough ‘cast-offs’ from my old shoots.
Warning: This is a very not safe for work gallery. Male and female nudity, some quite explicit, lies behind here. View at your own risk.
I will be moving all of my work to a new gallery system soon as part of a much larger restructuring and rebuild of my photoblog and my gallery. So enjoy the photos, but don’t let HR catch you, because as we all know, boobies make HR explode.

Taken May 31, 2014 from the front porch of my family’s house in Royston, GA.
View is roughly south by south-west with a very mild light dome from the nearby shopping center.

My niece, Kerstin, wanted a few photos in her prom dress and graduation gown the weekend of her HS Graduation. After the first couple of sets, she was hooked and we spent most of the afternoon shooting different outfits and sets.  Here are a few of the best from those sets:
It’s that time again. I’m thinking of making this a weekly post. This time, we’re diving through late 2011 to experiment with more B/W conversions and edits. Images below the fold are NSFW. You’ve been warned. The gallery from the original shoot is here.
We start with an image that I had passed up at the time I shot it. Back then, I couldn’t quite get the emotion I wanted to come out. A bit of work with filters and color.
NSFW images below the fold.
On the way home from Canton this evening, I saw these two birds on the side of the road feasting on an unfortunate small deer.  Since I had my camera with me, I decided there was only one thing I could do, stop and shoot them.
I occasionally will see something that’s just bizarre enough, abstract enough, or just plain neat enough that I have to stop and capture it.
The first image here was taken in 2008 at a Sweet 16 party I was hired to photograph. Walking by the buffet table, the fire in the sterno cans under the chafing dishes caught my eye and this was the result.
This second image was taken on the way home from a photography meetup just a week ago. I took it while sitting at the red light just before getting home.
We got hit with a second snow storm a week after the last one. At least this time it didn’t shut the entire city down, stranding motorists for days. Being stuck in my home (working from home, damned interweb tubes things) I couldn’t let a camera sit idle.
A few shots of the Snowpocalypse 2014 that brought Atlanta to a stand still this year. Shot on January 28, 2014.
