Bad code, no flogging for you!

Just a quick word or warning. Looks like a bug in php in use on many different shared hosting sites ( Dreamhost, etc..) may have opened up any wordpress, joomla or other php based site to a drive-by malware downloader.

I noticed something odd on the templates for my wordpress sites and on further investigation, *all* of my websites on dreamhost have been hit. Cleaning and sterilization is in progress.

If you’ve been to my sites in the last couple of days, do a virus scan on your system. It doesn’t look like that payload was successful, but there’s still a chance.

Drop me a note if you have any questions. I’ll post again with a more thorough analysis this evening after I’ve had time to take a look at the actual payload.

If you’re running a php site anywhere, look for a line inserted at the top of all of your .php files that looks something like:

or similar.

AFVE Meetup preview

A couple of quick edits from tonight’s Meetup. We had a short class on using a single light to set mood and what angles work best for what kind of shots. I’ll post more shots as I get them edited.

I had a chance to shoot Jess up on top of Effigy hill at Alchemy this year. The cool breezes, warm sun and beautiful skies were just too perfect to not use as a backdrop for one of my most beautiful regular models.

A little panorama of the Alchemy burn this year.

I got adventurous this year and climbed my fat butt to the top of the Effigy on Saturday afternoon. From there I was able to take a 180 degree series of photos of the entire burn. A little playing around in Microsoft’s ICE software and this is the result. Enjoy.

Alchemy 2011

Another year, another Alchemy. Once again I spent a wonderfully peaceful time at or near my camp. What meanderings I did enjoy took me up to the effigy or down to Camp Science and Camp Sheherazade.

We’re still unpacking and recovering so all of my photos aren’t prepped yet. Here are a few that stood out during my initial load and first pass. Enjoy.

Makeup test from April.

Going back through the year’s sets looking for shots for a gallery show, I came across this set that I hadn’t gotten around to finishing and uploading.

Jess and I were experimenting with a new makeup look and something a little different with respect to wardrobe. Here are the best from that set.
