This image, number 3 in the moving car series, touches somewhere deep in my psyche. Though my basic religious forms are those of western Europe, I identify strongly with the Orisha of the African diasporan religions.

This image brings to mind Esu, the Guardian of the Crossroads. He's not a gentle spirit, but a teacher of lessons, often harsh, but always necessary.
