A gallery of my work organized by year.
This is what will probably be the last batch of edits from my Graduation Day shoot of my niece Kerstin back in May of 2014.  She’s grown into a beautiful and strong young woman over the years.  I sincerely hope this, our first formal shoot, won’t be our last.
My niece, Kerstin, wanted a few photos in her prom dress and graduation gown the weekend of her HS Graduation. After the first couple of sets, she was hooked and we spent most of the afternoon shooting different outfits and sets.  Here are a few of the best from those sets:
Back in 2011 I posted this shot of Jessica and a few people asked me to detail how I accomplished it and how much editing it took. I realized that I never actually made that post.  So, here’s that post.
I’ve been going through some of my better photos from the last couple of years and revisiting my techniques for B/W conversion. I think this one works much better than the old technique. I was able to bring out the details on her jacket and give her some hair back.
A quickie for you until I get time to edit the rest of the shots from today’s group shoot at Southern Mills.  Enjoy.
Edited to add link to more shots: Gallery
This is what happens when you turn two beautiful and creative women loose in a photo studio. Enjoy.
More photos behind the fold. NSFW because boobies make HR directors explode.
Just a teaser from one of this week’s sets:
Jo and friend enjoying a hookah.
Going back through the year’s sets looking for shots for a gallery show, I came across this set that I hadn’t gotten around to finishing and uploading.
Jess and I were experimenting with a new makeup look and something a little different with respect to wardrobe. Here are the best from that set.
Enjoy:
I found myself in a creative mindset tonight and decided to experiment a bit with B&W images. I went back to a set of Jess & Swan Song from June and either did a new treatment of one of the shots I’ve already published or picked out new images from that set to play with. I think you’ll like the results.

More images past the fold. Beware, they’re not safe for work.
So what’d you do on your 4th of July? I spent it shooting a room full of beautiful, and mostly naked, people. What’d you do?
