Day 8 – Project 365 – Vivitar Close Focus lens test.

A bit of a migraine tonight so creativity is pretty much out the window.  I decided to give a lens a friend gave me a test.  It’s a Vivitar close focus lens.  I haven’t been able to find much info online about it, but it’s a pretty nice lens.  I’ve uploaded a full resolution version of the image so you can see the level of detail the lens gives me from about 4-5 inches away.

Project 365 – Day 4 – Surfing the Net.

Skull-in-a-Jar decided to surf the net tonight.  I came back from dinner to this sight.   Somehow I’m not surprised.

Project 365 – Days 1 and 2

I’m a bit tardy posting these, but it’s been a busy year so far.   I am undertaking a 365 project in order to push the boundaries of my creativity and  get me into the habit of always looking at the world around me as if through the lens.

I plan to take the off-the-wall object you see here and create a new photograph of it every day.  Each photo must be unique and creative.  It promises to be fun and I already have a week’s worth of  ideas bouncing around inside my head.

So without further ado, I give you, photos!
